Always an eye-catcher: digital signage information points for the Museum Kunst der Westküste
In Alkersum, on the North Frisian island of Föhr, the Museum Kunst der Westküste informs its visitors with two digital information points. ST-DIGITAL developed and designed the digital signage hardware solutions for this top tourist address.
Sea air and durability – it’s complicated
One of the challenges is the humid, salty air at the North Sea, which constantly wears away at any material exposed to it and causes immense damage to lower-quality equipment. The two portrait systems from ST-DIGITAL are therefore specially adapted for the seawater environment. With internal stainless steel construction, pre-anodizing and other adaptations, we have achieved corrosion protection with the highest quality standards. Thanks to the intelligent brightness control and the chemically anti-reflective glass with UV and IR filter, the outdoor screen is easy to read even in direct sunlight and bright ambient light.
Hardware, software: from a single source
Both digital information columns are equipped with high-quality monitors, one with a 55-inch screen and one with a 46-inch screen. In addition, high-alloy stainless steel legs, the cut edges were additionally treated to prevent corrosion. Furthermore, the CMS that controls the content on the monitors was supplied and installed by ST-DIGITAL.
